Fethard U8 Hurling Success
Fethard u8 hurling team came away from Rosegreen proud winners of the Charlie Power cup.
We traveled to Rosegreen on Sunday 31th July to take part in the annual Rosegreen u8 hurling tournament. We traveled with just 9 players due to holidays and other comments, but despite the small number we played with great spirit and skill.
In the group stage we came out on top of great challenges against Rosegreen, Cashel King Cormac’s and Boherlahan. Which left us waiting to see who we would play in the final.
Boherlahan were our challengers in this years final, but again the Fethard men proved too strong by winning on a score line of 3 goals to no score.
A big thank you to all players and parents for your great commitment all year. The improvement this squad of players have shown this year in both hurling & football is a pleasure to witness. Well done.

Well done to our U16 team who won the Co. Semi final tonight against Portroe, we now play Templemore on Monday evening in the Final.
