Many Hands make light Work

With the upcoming senior hurling game scheduled for Sunday 28th it was decided to get together to tidy up the surrounding areas of the field of rough grass and ivy. On Tuesday a strong group of volunteers turned up, armed with strimmers, lawn mowers, tractor and trailers to do a great job behind the seating areas, cutting back high grass and  taking away the ivy that came off the walls.

Thanks to everybody who turned up tonight to help with the clean up of the field it was a great turnout and a lot of work done, I would like to say it’s a credit to all who took part and the field looked a picture when leaving.

I would also like to congratulate the Fethard U14 girls on there great win over the weekend in the county final and to all others involved well done ,”
