U21 Football
Anner Gaels ( Fethard/ St. Pasts Combination) had their first championship (A) outing on Saturday evening under light in Monroe against Moyle Rovers. Unfortunately though the game was lost and put away as Moyle Rovers took their opportunities and scored goals in the last quarter of the game to run out comfortable winners, Several spells throughout the game we showed our ability and controlled the game, especially at the start of the second half we controlled and took the game to Moyle Rovers. this game followed a very good challenge game the previous against Ardfinnan. Our lads are out again next Sunday against Clonmel Commercials and we will be ready and willing to take the game to them.
Registration Night
On Saturday gone 20/02/16 All four clubs of Fethard Gaa held a group registration/ Social Gathering Night. The night was another great success and many thanks to all for both organising the event and to those who took the time on the night or previously done to register early and help the clubs settle down to 2016 season which is now on us. Anyone that couldn’t get in and wishes to take the initiative can contact our clubs and sort out their child(rens) membership(s) at any time. Again thanks to everyone for their support and membership fees and to say that new children are welcome at any stage.
